  1. It’s obviously an inefficient design and just a historical novelty. The challenge is simply not falling and making a substandard piece of equipment perform at a most basic level. We should all appreciate the evolution of surfboard design, modern ingenuity, and how far we’ve come. Yet, many will see it the other way…
