Have you yet seen the trailer for The Heart & The Sea? It’s Nathan Oldfield’s new film that muses on the joys and beauty of the surfing life. And it is gorgeous. I love the time he takes in his films. There’s a spaciousness that Nathan develops by not pandering to the mostly ADD-directed fast paced media culture. He takes his time and develops a sweet, nostalgic romanticism about the surfing life. Seeing wave sliding through Nathan’s eyes makes me fall in love with surfing even more.
Can’t wait to see it in its entirety….
